Training when life gets busy

A plan that leaves room for school runs, work, and the unexpected.

Plan for the week you actually have.

Choose your training windows before choosing your ideal routine. Work, childcare, and family time all belong in the plan.

Give yourself a shorter option.

Write down a full session and a shorter fallback. On a difficult day, choose the option you have time for instead of trying to squeeze in everything.

Keep the next step simple.

Lay out your clothes, decide where you’ll train, and put the session in your calendar. If plans change, move the session without turning the rest of the week into punishment.

A practical planning approach from The Gamble Method. Use it to organize your routine; it is not a prescribed workout.
