Give every session a job
A practical starting point for building a week with both strength and cardio.
Give strength and cardio a place.
CDC guidance for adults includes both aerobic activity and muscle-strengthening work. That is a useful reminder to think about the whole week, rather than only your favorite session.
Choose the days you actually have.
As a planning example, a four-day week might include two strength sessions, one easy aerobic session, and one session built around your main goal. Adjust this starting point to your experience and available time.
Leave room to adjust.
Write the focus beside each day. If a session repeatedly disrupts the next one, reconsider its difficulty or placement. A schedule is useful when it supports repeatable training.
